IMPORTANT VOLUNTARY RECALL OF
PROPLUS™ CROSS-OVER STYLE HARNESSES

Sapsis Rigging is voluntarily recalling ProPlus™ cross-over style harnesses.
AFFECTED EQUIPMENT
- ProPlus™ The Technician (Model 502015)
- ProPlus™ X-Over (Models 502004 and 502004X)
- ProPlus™ Production X Harness (Model 502000)
MANUFACTURE DATES
August 15, 2023 – March 31, 2025
IDENTIFIED RISK
There are two issues with these harnesses
1. Cross-over style harnesses manufactured between August 15, 2023 and March 31, 2025 were built with a fixed Dorsal Ring*. These harnesses were supposed to be built with an adjustable Dorsal Ring**. (See photos below)
2. The Fixed Dorsal Ring was installed too low.
As a result, a worker suffering a fall while wearing one of these harnesses could experience an “Angle at Rest” condition that exceeds safety standards for a worker’s body position, post-fall. “Angle at Rest” is the maximum permissible angle (typically 30 degrees from vertical) that the torso makes with the vertical after a fall is arrested.
Prolonged exposure to an "angle at rest" condition that exceeds safety standards may result in injury or death.
HOW TO IDENTIFY AFFECTED HARNESSES
The manufacture date is shown on the harness label.
Affected harnesses were manufactured between August 15, 2023 and March 31, 2025

IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED
• Cease all use of the affected harnesses immediately
• Return affected harness to Sapsis Rigging for replacement. Sapsis Rigging will pay for all shipping costs
Sapsis Rigging is in the process of contacting the owners of these harnesses to arrange for the return of the defective harness to Sapsis Rigging and to send a replacement to the owner.
If you have a Technician (502015), X-Over (502004 or 502004X), and/or Production X (502000) harness manufactured between August 15, 2023 and March 31, 2025 and have not yet been contacted by Sapsis Rigging, please contact us at harness@sapsis-rigging.com immediately.
